BRITISH ADMIRALTY: ARCS LEVEL OF SERVICE: NAVIGATOR
For users requiring access to
the latest automatic updating information. This is a complete chart supply
and updating service which is provided under license to the user.
On joining the service the user is supplied with the regional CD-ROMs that
are required and, for the period of the license, the weekly Update
CD-ROMs. These contain all the necessary Notice to Mariners information,
chart new editions and Preliminary and Temporary NM information needed to
maintain the full ARCS chart outfit up to date. Periodically the user will
be supplied with reprints of the regional chart CD-ROMs.
Additional charts can be added to the outfit at ant time. Selective access to individual charts on the regional CD-ROMs is provided by a series of "keys" held on floppy disk - this allows the user to pay only for those charts required. There is a minimum license fee for this service, contact Sales for details.
