CHARTS: BRITISH ADMIRALTY: ARCS IN GENERAL
The service provides direct facsimile reproductions of Admiralty charts supplied on CD-ROM providing high standards of accuracy and clarity.
Updating is achieved with the minimum of effort. Weekly Notices to Mariners corrections are supplied on the Update CD. The corrections are applied automatically and the updating information is cumulative so only the latest Update CD needs to be used.
ARCS is global - there are around 2,800 charts on CD-ROM covering the World's major ports and routes. Worldwide coverage is held on 10 regional CD-ROMS and one CD-ROM for small scale charts (each CD-ROM containing up to 350 charts).
